How do you measure up?!?!

Ok so Ive been thinking recently, being a pisces I have some deep thoughts....lol but ok I was thinking about how do you measure success and happiness? There is no standard way right? so if there was there would be some people who would be shocked at the results, Are you the most happiest because you have the most money, the better car, or the better job, Probly not, You might have more material possesions and items but how about memories, and the thoughts you can go back to and reflect on when you arent so happy...As far as success, big wigs on wall street off thereselves left and right, have more money and items than I can probly imagine, but clearly they arent happy. I know that I can love doing what Im doing and as long as the money is enough to get me by, I'd definitly love that! As long as my son is straight, and has no need for anything( but he can want a ps3 all day long...lol) Im fine. I think thats the problem with people now adays, Some people cant recognize good things infront of them always comparing them to others and what they have and how happy someone else looks, when people only need to realize that sometimes thats one helluva front! Big Time! trust me! Not everyone smiling in your face is doing so behind closed doors, Like puff said, Mo' Money Mo' Problems...lol I dunno these have just been my thoughts for the last couple weeks, All I know is I am Blessed to have my son and my boyfriend, My family and friends, I am VERY thankful for them and know that at any given time all these things can be taken away.....Just something to think about....

My question today hell for the rest of my life is "when will an ex not be an ex anymore" as in if you haven't dated a person in 6 years is that still considered your ex, when do you stop "claiming" them or is it only when convenient to block? for example Columbus is only so big, ppl are bound to date each others friends and ex's at least once, unless your an importer, LOL but ok so when do you stop claiming someone that you haven't talked to in a year and counting and haven't dated since high school your ex, how about we just say we were really close friends, or we used to date, she's a good girl, why do the hands off approach like you know that's my ex right, as in hands off, when both have you have moved forward and haven't looked back, at least on my part, I'm just curious, as to why hold on to something that neither one of you no longer have, or want, and mutually let go of?
